If your child develops any of these symptoms during our care, they will be separated from the other children and the guardian will be contacted for pickup.

FTKP staff are unable to administer any medications. We will however, possibly administer medications used in life-threatening emergencies, such as: inhalers or EpiPens. See center for further details.

For the safety of others, FTKP requires all children to be current on their immunizations prior to using our services*. If this record is not accessible by the 1st visit, we will your child to attend as long as you are in agreement that the record will be received within 30 days. Please see our Family Handbook for further information. Immunization Agreement

FTKP staff cleans and sanitizes the facility and toys throughout the day. We use environmentally friendly products as often as possible.

SAFETY

As parents ourselves, we realize how important keeping your child safe is your priority, because that's ours too.  This is why we designed our facility around this.  We have cameras throughout, our play area is blocked off to allow only authorized persons access and we have a strict drop-off and pick-up policy for every child.

In addition, staff are certified in adult and pediatric first aid, CPR and AED, trained in universal precautions, and attend various seminars throughout the year, to include safe sleeping practice.  They are ALL subject to a nationwide criminal background check, drug testing, along with an extensive pre-employment screening. High School helpers may be excluded.

On top of that, we have extensive emergency policies that staff are fully trained in. We also conduct emergency drills monthly.

During your child's care, we make every effort to follow the state guidelines for staff to child ratio. We have staff on call to ensure this can be withheld.

Please see our Family Handbook for more details.
