We always have at least one staff member in the facility that is certified in pediatric and adult first aid, AED and CPR. In addition, staff must complete universal precautions training, and have at least 12 hours of in-service training. On-call, part-time or High School helpers staff may be excluded.
To learn more about these, and others (including our emergency procedures), please see our Family Handbook, visit the in.gov/fssa website, or contact us.
As parents ourselves, we realize how important keeping your child safe is your priority, because that's ours too. This is why we designed our facility around this. We have cameras throughout, our play area is blocked off to allow only authorized persons access and we have a strict drop-off and pick-up policy for every child.
In addition, staff are certified in adult and pediatric first aid, CPR and AED, trained in universal precautions, and attend various seminars throughout the year, to include safe sleeping practice. They are ALL subject to a nationwide criminal background check, drug testing, along with an extensive pre-employment screening. High School helpers may be excluded.
On top of that, we have extensive emergency policies that staff are fully trained in. We also conduct emergency drills routinely.
During your child's care, we make every effort to follow the state guidelines for staff to child ratio. We have staff on call to ensure this can be withheld.
Please see our Family Handbook for more details.
